When I think of sled dogs I think of Alaska, not Pennsylvania.
But guess what?  I found some in Perkasie, Pennsylvania!

There was a variety of different races at the event.

And once one dog was taken to get harnessed up,
the others all started getting hyped,
almost like they were saying, "Pick me, pick me!"

After the races $5 would buy you a little ride.

Mush! (Actually, I didn't hear anyone say "Mush.")

Don't you just love this hat?

It was the first time this event was held.
It would be fun if they have it again next year.

I will be posting some photos of just the dogs on Tuesday.

I love sled dogs. I'm so happy your pictures showed the blue eyes.

I really don't think that my monitor can decipher what your monitor looks like. Your pictures look just great on my monitor and I don't see a pinkish tint. So I guess that means my monitor is well-calibrated!

I don't see a pink cast to these on my Mac, which has really good color calibration, but the 5th pic has a distinct warm tone to it.

Anyway, I would love to go to an event like this. The dogs look so excited to be there! I would also love to see a zoomed-in pic of the dark sled dog in your 2nd photo: that face!
