Autumn Wonderland

It wasn't quite an Autumn Splendor,
and not quite a Winter Wonderland either.
It was an Autumn Wonderland!

An early winter storm before the leaves
had finished falling from the trees
was certainly a surprise.

I took these photos out the car window
as my husband was driving.
We should have stayed home!
The untreated roads were really slick.

But we NEEDED pumpkins -
so we shopped for pumpkins in the snow.

That was really a freak storm you Easterners received. Supposedly the weather will be back to normal for you tomorrow. At least you made the most of the photographic opportunity!

I have a similar shot schedule for Wednesday, I called it 'snowliage'. It makes for some scenes that we are not accustomed to, that's for sure! Beautiful!!

New fallen snow is very pretty but do hate driving on it!
