Killin' Time

That's what happens when you don't read an invitation carefully.

You are either early or late...
and even though is was the beginning of
Daylight Savings Time,
we still managed to arrive early.

So we killed some time by riding up
Mt. Penn in Reading, PA
to the Pagoda there.

From here,
you can see the city of Reading below.

Built in 1908 as part of a luxury resort that never happened,
the Pagoda now belongs to the city
and is a bit of a tourist attraction.

The Pagoda managed to survive the anti Japanese sentiment
caused by World War 2.
Now you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the Cafe located inside.

Now back to our regularly scheduled life.

See, sometimes it pays to arrive early. If you had not, you probably wouldn't have gone exploring and gotten these great clicks!

Seems so unusual for Pennsylvania, or what I think of Pennsylvania. It's very attractive.

Arriving earlier is better. Gives you time to take great shots like these :D
