Please Don't Wake Me...

...I am in the middle of a Jane Austen dream.
Darcy, Elizabeth, Emma, Bingley, Elinor, Edward...
you know the cast.
They are all here.

But for me,
more importantly,
I am surrounded by
Barton Cottage, Mansfield Park, Rosings Park, Upper Cross Hall.
Oh, and of course,
my favorite Pemberley.

Oh, the architecture.
Oh, the Austen drama.

Dang,
I am not in England,
I am in New Jersey
at Princeton University.
This campus transports me to other places.
So if you can't find me,
look in the pages of an Austen novel.
I'll see you there.

I love the ivy, all the ivy, over the door and over the window and on the walls... it does look like the England I see in photos..

Rebecca, The diversity of your blog header photographs draws me to your site - right away. And, I really enjoyed reading your About Me page, too. I love your portrait - you like right at home with that camera in your hand. I really studied your images for today - and totally thought you might be on a glorious vacation till you revealed your location. You found some beautiful angles and views to showcase the architecture - perfect focus.

Dreamy indeed. I like roaming around on college campuses during vacation times when all (or most) of the students are away.

Those buildings are beautiful. Although Darcy has not and will never be my favorite. Henry Tilney is first place in my book.
