The Day I Was Uninvited

Uninvited

Well, I wasn't invited to begin with
but that's beside the point...

Admittance

Because this sign clearly says, "Admittance."

Area 6

And any number preceded with the word Area
immediately becomes intriguing.

Abandoned

So if you add it all together,
clearly it is an invitation.

Superfund Site

Unless the location happens to be a government
Superfund Site,
then you can expect to be uninvited -

Where's Security?

- Even if the security booth is empty

  1. I would be more then intrigued by these places. I think you captured their isolation very well.

  2. Well I'm intrigued! And seriously "area" makes an area mysterious and interesting!

  4. I like the way nature is growing over some of the buildings. The brick house with the pillars looks like it might have been a beauty in the day. If my son saw area....well, aliens would certainly be involved in the storyline. = )

  5. Looks a bit abandoned to me, so not sure why there is security. It might be dangerous, but then, why wouldn't they have it locked up tight?

  6. I think I recognize the Security building. I need to go back there

  7. Great shots of the abandoned site. Since it is a Superfund site, you really don't want to get too close anyway.

  8. I would totally want to go into that house! Recently, we crawled under a fence to get into an "off limits" archaeological site. My husband was so nervous we literally stayed 5 minutes. Ha!

  10. I do wonder what that place is all about! Now that there's no security does that make it less scary? Hmmm. I'd love to move in closer but first I need to find out what a Superfund site is.
