I would love to snoop around the corners looking at the old bits and pieces, my kind of place. The link to the additional photos isn't working.

This brings to mind a visit to a place in Arizona called Old Tucson when I was around 6 or 7 years old. Unsure if it's still there, but it's the first time that I saw items like this from the past and I was just mesmerized! I thought the world started with my first memory and it was amazing to realize that there was a history to the place in time where I was and there were lives lived before I arrived. I actually remember standing there looking at an old classroom with desks that had ink wells. It is hard to describe how I felt in that moment, your photos made me feel that again, especially the calendar photo because I'm an insurance agent. On what date in January of 1971 did that agency come to an end? What happened? Did they leave for New Years Eve with the hopes of a new year and not return? Love this post! Hauntingly beautiful!

I think the calendar maybe my favorite photo today. But it's so close it's hard to pick one. I love all the old things especially the bottles in the window so that would be my second favorite today. Thanks for sharing things from the past

Wow what a great series of photos. The end one was my very favorite but they were all wonderful.
