Autumn Glory

I haven't had much time to spend outside this fall
or to take photos for myself -
but then there was one beautiful fall day last week...
and I spent it at Valley Forge National Historic Park.

George Washington's Headquarters

Valley Forge is the site of a Revolutionary War Winter Encampment
of the Continental Army under George Washington in 1777-1778.

The park is 3500 acres and includes trails, historic structures and monuments.

This park is just about half an hour from my home.

  1. triple WOW! these are awesome!!! I LOVE the blue wheels and the house with the single green tree in the middle is spectacular...

  2. Beautiful place to visit. All that lush foliage makes me miss the Northeast.

  3. Wow how gorgeous are these images Rebecca. i need to get my tail in gear and visit this park. Bet it would be great in winter too.

  4. Nice! I'm been to the park many times, but never take the time to go inside any of the buildings.

  5. All that amazing history and only a half hour that is awesome!

  6. I think I want to live in GW's headquarters. WOW, so pretty. I have got to get to your area of the world, there is so much to see there. The Chapel looks so pretty as well. Great shots.

  8. Amazing autumn images. But that season is gone now. Here as well. I've been to the USA in Fall (visited New England and NYC) and it was simply amazing. The colors were fantastic. Hope you are well. Take care.
