Just Another Historic Iron Site in PA

The Lockridge Iron Works remains is something
my husband and I just discovered.

It's just about an hour from where we live -
our intended destination was the nearby Alburtis Tavern.

But we arrived early and decided to investigate the area.

There is a museum in side the building,
but that was closed when we arrived.

I love roaming through the ruins...
and he loves reading the history.
That's what makes these little adventures work for us.
