Imagining Yesteryear

In my imagination I could have lived here,
in old times.

But that is what is great about imagining.
I still have my flush toilet and modern day conveniences
in my reality.

I only have to leave those nice things briefly
while I think about the people and times of yesteryear.

And like some sort of time travel...
poof, here I am back where I belong.

Cuddled up on my couch
in a my warm modern day home.

We take many things for granted. It is hard to imagine living without many.I enjoy the rustic life when camping, but enjoy when I return home.

Beautiful pictures! I live in an older home and sometimes wish it was brand new.

We are lucky to live now, aren't we? Lovely photos, Rebecca. I like the texture in them.

Oh Rebecca you have so much to teach us. I could not come up with such a creative post. I do not get out much when the weather is cold, rainy or snowy. I know what I need to do to improve my photography. Thank you so much for sharing with us.

Rebecca your composition just blows my mind. That second shot, looking through the window to the fire - wonderful! I often think, "How would Rebecca compose this?" Maybe one day it will help!
