Fishing at Green Lane Park

I went to Green Lane Park
to catch some fall color.

But I ended up catching this guy
catching his first fish of the season.

He was so happy someone was there with a camera!

Not a lot of blue today,
but at least he was wearing some blue.

Upper Frederick Township, Pennsylvania
is a park system around a large lake & reservoir
offering boating, camping, fishing
and trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding.

Too bad he didn't catch a whopper since you were there with your handy camera.

Wow! His first fish of the year! He might need to catch another to make a decent meal. I wonder what kind of fish it was?

I know you run this meme but I for one sure will forgive you for ONLY finding blue clothing in your picture. That is because I do that too once in a while.

When I retired I was going to play golf and fish for major hobbies. I can't golf now until my new knee heals in better and I've only ever fished one time in the ten years that I have been retired. That time I caught on little fish and it went back to the Gulf.

No fisherman's tales for him with photographic evidence to tell the truth:-)

We have had a whole lotta gray lately, but I have some deep blues for tomorrow :-)

Fly fisherman are fun to watch, it's an elaborate dance they perform.

Hi Rebecca ~~ Good observation on the shoestrings. I almost mentioned that and decided instead to see if it would be noticed.

Mrs. Jim was running late and so tied her shoes after she met up with her buddies.
